The location in the heart of Madrid made exploring super easy. My room was very clean and had a great bathroom with a nice shower. I appreciated the staff's kindness despite some setbacks. However, the air conditioning was not available, and I found it too warm at 28 degrees. The decor upon entering felt a bit dark, like stepping onto a ghost train. I encountered issues with the bathroom door that wouldn’t stay shut, and the lift was out of order during my stay, which was frustrating.

Consider asking for a room at the back to avoid street noise during weekends and get a better night's sleep.

The staff was incredibly kind, and the hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from Gran Via. The complimentary snacks in the morning were a pleasant surprise, even though I found the pillows a bit too soft for my liking.

It was just an optimal selection for a mini-vacation in Madrid with excellent value for money. The air conditioning worked surprisingly well, keeping the room cool during hot spells. Avoid peak hours for breakfast. it gets crowded and the wait can be long.
